DUNSTONE WINES

OUR WINE MAKING PROCESS

Hand picked, hand sorted, gently pressed using a traditional basket and matured in 100% oak barrels for 16 months 

OUR VINEYARD

A small vineyard lying at the foothills of the Bains Kloof Pass. 2.8 hectare planted since in 2002 with Merlot and Shiraz cultivars.

Every aspect of maintenance and care of the vineyard is done by hand:  no machinery goes into the rows of vines, not even a tractor!

 

 

WINELIST

	A dry, crispy Rose with aromas of strawberries, raspberries and plum, which follows through to a refreshing palate. DUNSTONE SHIRAZ ROSE 2011
	A deep purple full bodied wine, lush with soft integrated tannins. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, spices and oak linger on the palate and in the memory, long after the last sip. DUNSTONE MERLOT 2007  DUNSTONE MERLOT 2008
	This is an elegant, beautifully structured wine. Robust aromas of ripe red berries and a touch of mocha are followed by an elegant yet subtle oak integration. The palate shows a smooth tannin structure accompanied by white pepper and a lengthy finish. DUNSTONE SHIRAZ 2008  DUNSTONE SHIRAZ 2009
